New Surf Life Saving Members
How Surf Life Saving began in Australia
To become a member of our club you will need to complete a membership form for every person joining. If you are over 18 years Surf Life Saving Queensland (SLSQ) will also require you to complete a working with children check.
You can join Rainbow Bay SLSC online. Please follow the steps listed below. If you have any questions throughout the process, please contact Club Administrator on 07 5536 6390 or admin@rainbowbayslsc.com.au
There are 4 main parts to joining:
- All new members need to Complete the SLSQ online Membership Form
- Pay Rainbow Bay SLSC Membership Fee
- Membership approval will be approved by admin within a few days.
- Hold, or Apply for, a current/valid Blue Card
Become a Lifesaver at Rainbow Bay SLSC
We are on the lookout for new members that have the ability to undertake a Bronze, SRC, Observers or First Aid Course or currently hold a Bronze, SRC, Observers or First Aid Award and would like to join our Patrol Teams. Absolutely anyone can join! You don’t even have to get your toes wet if you don’t want to. As long as you have a positive attitude, you’ve got what it takes.
Patrol Season Dates: Start Mid-September each year to Early May the following year.

You can join/ transfer/ renew with our Club by completing an Online Membership form. Click here to join.
Once your membership has been approved by the Club, you will need to create an online account at the Members Portal in order for you to manage your personal details i.e. change email addresses, phone number, etc, view your awards list, view patrol roster and access the online payment gateway.
Surf Life Saving Members - Free Card to Supporters Club
Once you join the surf life saving club, you are eligible for a free members card as a surf club member
